1. Auto-rickshaw Ride (Passenger)

On-demand auto-rickshaw booking in Chennai. The passenger pays the driver directly via UPI or cash. Zride does not take any commission on the fare itself.

Waiting charges	Per government tariff — paid entirely to the driver

Zero commission: The platform fee is Zride's only charge on a ride. 100% of the fare, night charges, waiting charges and tips are retained by the driver.

2. Zride Parcel

Small, personal package delivery (documents, tiffin, light packages) on the same platform. Not for commercial goods. The driver decides, per trip, what they can carry. In Tamil Nadu, parcels are delivered by two-wheeler partners.

3. Driver fees

Drivers pay no commission. Zride charges drivers a flat daily platform fee, plus the per-ride platform fee that the passenger pays with the fare.

    Free period & billing:
    Free to drive until Zride is busy in your area (up to 90 days). The daily fee starts only after that.
After the free period, the daily fee is debited from the driver's prepaid Zride platform balance (see section 4 for top-ups).

  

4. Online payments to Zride (wallet & platform-balance top-ups)

These are the only payments made to Asli One Global Private Limited online, from the Zride and Zride Partner apps. Each top-up is a one-time payment of an amount you choose.

Platform-balance top-up (drivers)	Any whole-rupee amount from ₹10 to ₹10,000 per payment. Credited 1:1 and used for the daily platform fee (₹20/day for autos, after the free period) and the ₹5 per-ride platform fee. A minimum balance of ₹10 is needed to receive ride requests.

Unused balances are refundable as set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Driver Welfare & Benefits

Zride isn't just a ride platform — it's a full welfare ecosystem for auto-rickshaw drivers and their families. Benefits are rolled out in phases as the driver base scales.

Emergency Cash Advance (zero interest) — if your vehicle is seized by the RTO / police or needs urgent repair, Zride lends you ₹2,000–₹10,000 (based on tenure on the platform) with zero interest. Disbursed instantly to your registered bank account. Repaid in small daily installments added to your subscription debit.
Education Fee Support (school & college) — Interest-free advance up to ₹10,000 per year for your children's school OR college fees, available after 1 year of active driving on Zride. Disbursed directly to the school/college (preferred) or to your bank. Repaid via small daily installments over 6–12 months.

Girl-child incentive: if the advance is taken for a daughter's education and you complete full repayment without any missed or delayed installments, Zride refunds 50% of the advance amount back to you at the end of the repayment term. Effectively a 50% scholarship — our way of rewarding discipline and actively encouraging girl-child education.
Sports & Academic Sponsorship for outstanding kids — if a driver's child shows outstanding performance in sports or academics (school/district/state level recognition, sports academy selection, top ranks in board exams), Zride sponsors their coaching fee, sports academy fee, competition travel, or academic tuition. Application reviewed by the Zride education committee with proof of achievement.
Family & Student Support (in-kind) — opt-in programme for drivers who share basic family details. Zride provides notebooks, uniforms, textbooks and book fees for the drivers' school-going children at the start of each academic year. Funded from the welfare pool.
Document Renewal Service — Zride staff handle Fitness Certificate, Driving Licence renewal and Permit renewal on your behalf. Flat service fee of ₹500 (paid to the broker / RTO office) with no markup. No more standing in line at the RTO.
Legal Support — in-app SOS Legal button, encrypted document vault (AES-256), help with unjust traffic fines, accident-scene legal aid, and a legal helpline manned by partnered advocates. You're never alone when you're on the road.
Driver Care Calls — dedicated care agents proactively call every driver once every two weeks just to check in — on your well-being, any issues on the platform, family situation, or feedback. Escalation path for any serious concerns.
Safe Driver Program (sobriety rewards) — drivers who maintain a clean record (no alcohol complaints, 4.5+ rating, zero incidents) climb badge tiers: Safe (3 mo) → Trusted (6 mo) → Star (1 yr) → Champion (2 yr). Rewards scale up: visible profile badge, priority ride matching, cash bonuses, and public recognition at Champion tier. Champion tier also unlocks 75% girl-child education refund.
Mutual Respect & two-way rating — both passengers and drivers rate each other after every ride. Behaviour tags and auto-enforced consequences protect the good actors on both sides. Drivers are not helpless against abusive or disrespectful passengers.
Driver Guidelines & daily reminders — simple cleanliness and conduct standards (uniform neatness, AC/meter functioning, polite address) shown as daily reminders in-app. Contributes to tenure bonus eligibility.

6. Social programmes (long-term vision)

Beyond driver welfare, Asli One Global Private Limited is committed to long-term social investment in the same communities it serves:

Toll-gate Women & Children Rehab to Employment — in partnership with NGOs, Zride's long-term vision is to rehabilitate women and children who currently beg at Chennai toll gates, provide them training, and employ them in Zride's customer-care and support operations. Planned for Phase 5+ as revenues scale.

7. Payment & Billing

Ride fares are paid passenger → driver directly (UPI or cash). Zride does not touch fare money.
The per-ride platform fee is paid by the passenger to the driver along with the fare, and debited from the driver's Zride platform balance on completion.
The driver daily platform fee is debited from the driver's prepaid Zride platform balance, which the driver tops up online.
Online payments to Zride (wallet and platform-balance top-ups) are processed by our RBI-authorised payment aggregator by UPI, debit / credit card or net banking. Zride does not store card details.
All prices are inclusive of applicable GST where charged to the end customer.

8. Tax

Zride does not collect or remit GST on the auto-rickshaw ride fare itself — the fare is a direct driver-to-passenger transaction, not a supply by Asli One Global Private Limited. GST is charged only on amounts where Asli One Global Private Limited is the supplier (platform fees and the driver daily platform fee). Full invoice breakdown is issued on every ride receipt inside the app.
